San Francisco NERR Vegetation Transects
- Source:
- San Francisco Bay NERR
- Description:
- Vegetation monitoring along transects included in this data set was established as part of the NERR System-Wide Monitoring Program and in concert with the NERRS Sentinel Site Program. Data are intended for long term monitoring and change detection, and may be useful for tracking effects of sea level rise or spread of invasive species in these marshes. Annual monitoring began at China Camp in 2013, with primary transects established in the main salt marsh and plans to add more transects in the tidally restricted brackish marsh in the future. Annual monitoring began at Rush Ranch in 2015-2016.
